   At the March meeting, Kirby Thornton will present a tutorial on 
   installing, configuring, and using PostRoad Mailer.  Innoval Systems' 
   PostRoad Mailer is a native 32-bit program for sending and receiving 
   electronic mail via the Internet.  It includes its own editor that 
   supports word wrap, quoted replies, drag-and-drop operations (file, 
   print, etc.), and MIME attachments.  It also supports a variety of 
   filters as well as "user exits" programmable in REXX.
     
   About the speaker:
   -----------------
   Kirby Thornton has plied his programming skills with the US 
   Government for more than ten years in support of a variety of 
   database-oriented applications.  He's been an enthusiastic supporter 
   of the CPUCG OS/2 SIG for several years.
     
FUTURE SIG FEATURES
     
   In April, we will have a special meeting featuring the OS/2 network 
   and attendant applications that support the Maryland State Highway 
   Authority (SHA) traffic operations center.  By special arrangement 
   with SHA, we will be meeting at their facility in Hanover, MD. The 
   meeting will include a presentation and tour of the facility.
     
   For those who are interested, we are trying to arrange carpools to 
   simplify traveling to Hanover.  Please let one of the SIG officers 
   know if you are interested (see the SIG OFFICERS heading for 
   officers' electronic mail addresses).  Because of its location (and 
   the travel time required for many participants), the April meeting 
   will have an abbreviated program:
     
       7:30 p.m.  Q&A, SIG business, and Announcements 
       8:00 p.m.  Feature presentation
     
   NOTE:  After discussion at the February meeting in Virginia, there 
   will be no Virginia OS/2 SIG meeting in April.
     
   In May, we have tentatively scheduled a product update from 
   Rhintek.
     
     
OS/2 SIG MAIL LIST PROCESSOR
     
   The OS/2 SIG's mail list processor, hosted by Pete Norloff and the 
   OS/2 Shareware BBS, is used for SIG business only.  Traffic on this 
   list is limited to OS/2 SIG meeting announcements and (occasionally) 
   other items deemed (by the SIG officers) to be of general interest to 
   our members.
     
   If you are seeing SIG meeting notices elsewhere (MIX, WWW, mail 
   routed by a friend, etc.) and would like to receive your own 
   notification, we invite you to subscribe to the mailing list.
